Ed Liu has been playing guitar in East Coast rock bands since the age of 12. Ed actually began his musical career playing both the drums and piano, and was the first drummer in the New Jersey State Youth Symphony! However, it was not long before he realized his true calling of playing rock-n-roll. Ed joined fellow DNH band mate Mike Weiss in “Lost Generation” with fond memories of the 80’s NJ cover band scene..
Many years later Ed played with “Chaos Theory” an original/cover band in the West Philadelphia area , releasing a 5 song original CD which hit the top of the college charts . Several years after playing with a band in the Boston area, Ed joined Dangerous New Highs. (He just couldn’t get enough of drummer Mike Weiss!)
Ed is an admitted gear freak and is always looking to add to his guitar collection. He will gladly take donations of any relics!
