DNH - The Cure For The Common Band
Some things are just meant to be. Like when a band goes from idea to demo to first gig to multiple bookings inside of three months. The drummer (who's also a lawyer) lived three houses down from the singer (who works for an investment bank). Jamming in the basement on weekends was fun, but not nearly enough to satisfy their desire to get back on stage. So the drummer decided to call the guitarist from his old high school band (who he hadn't seen in over 15 years). Turned out the guitarist (who's now a doctor) was still interested in playing. All they needed was a bassist. And wouldn't you know... the first guy they auditioned (who works in the telecom industry) knocked it out of the park. Destiny right? Regardless, the line-up was now complete!
